Economic and common sense good for security of Nation

As stated in the title of this post. Good sound economies make safe and secure nations. Now, lets check out this articule I found on the DRUDGE REPORT concerning the federal goverment and how they spend the citizens money. I also included a response from a upset taxpayer with a very funny take on waste of money. At this point we the people are less secure in our homes and persons, less secure in on future economic choices, and alot of what used to be wealth is drying up. But as you will see, that cannot stop the federal spenders from spending on the ridiculous. Enjoy or ....................

The Obama administration is setting new workplace regulations to assist foreign workers who fill goat herding positions in the U.S. , including employee-paid cell phones and comfy beds.

These new special procedures issued by the Labor Department must be followed by employers who want to hire temporary agricultural foreign workers to perform sheep herding or goat herding activities. It describes strict rules for sleeping quarters, lighting, food storage, bathing, laundry, cooking and new rules for the counters where food is prepared.

“A separate sleeping unit shall be provided for each person, except in a family arrangement,” says the rules signed by Jane Oates, assistant secretary for employment and training administration at the Labor Department.

“Such a unit shall include a comfortable bed, cot or bunk, with a clean mattress,” the rules state.

Diane Katz, a research fellow in regulatory policy at The Heritage Foundation, unearthed the policy in the "Federal Register," the massive daily journal of proposed regulations that Washington bureaucrats publish every day.

Under the Obama Administration, the nanny state has imposed 75 new major regulations with annual costs of $38 billion.

“This captures what is wrong with government,” Katz said. “I could not have made this up.”

With unemployment holding steady at 9% and government regulations adding more burden to small businesses, such as those run by ranching families, Katz said, bureaucrats aren’t helping.

“Instead of remedying the problem, the regulations make it that much harder,” Katz insisted. “We may need a whole set of regulations just to define what a comfortable bed is. I imagine it’s not straw."

The new lighting standards say that in areas where it is not feasible to provide electrical service such as tents or mobile trailers, lanterns must be provided. “Kerosene wick lights meet the definition of lantern,” the regulations say.

“When workers or their families are permitted or required to cook in their individual unit, a space shall be provided with adequate lighting and ventilation.”

“Wall surfaces next to all food preparation and cooking areas shall be of nonabsorbent, easy-to-clean material. Wall surfaces next to cooking areas shall be of fire-resistant material,” the regulations say.

“It makes you wonder,” Katz said, “how they ever did this before the government got involved?”

“Who knew we needed all of this federal help for herding goats?” Katz quipped.

COME ON AUDREY, you left out some of the details.

THE BATHROOM: "There must be a low-flow toilet, no more than 1.5 gallons, with heated toilet seat. Charmin, scented only, is the required paper. Bidets are also required. Showers must include Markham shampoos and conditioners. A stockpile of towels and wash cloths. Flea and tick medicine to be used on employee and their lover/partner while in the shower. Towels for goats must be kept in separate closet."

BEDROOMS: "Only one goat per person allowed in individual sleeping quarters. To alleviate jealousy and arguments leading to fights, individuals may claim their goat, including gay goats, as their own. Naming your goat is allowed but no goat can be named 'Obaaaaaama.'"

"Hola boss, what you doing in penthouse, I mean bunk house?" "I'm moving in here since it's fancier than where I live. Is that you Betsy? BETSY! Have you been cheating on me baby? You're a bbaaaadd girl!"

    ******

SURELY, THIS IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE that proves that departments like this were "CREATED" only to put in POLITICAL CRONIES who aided or funded a Democrat campaign or IOU's and Pay Back for Bribes! In my state of New Mexico, our former Governor Bill Richardson, "CREATED" and INVENTED THOUSANDS OF JOBS including removing experienced people, including Democrats, to only put in his that had no experience! He spent us into a hole only so he could brag about what he "did in New Mexico" during his Presidential run. Our new Governor is firing hundreds of these Richardson Cronies. Many of the state contracts went to businesses controlled by his cronies too. Every week, there is a Pay to Play allegation against one of his cronies including a Judge who had to give "envelopes" to a Richardson middleman and who the Judge told another Judge what she had to do to get the position. Eric Holder let Bill off the hook for a MAJOR PAY TO PLAY in return for Bill removing his name for a Cabinet position consideration. IF YOU HAVE, OR HAD, A DEMOCRAT GOVERNOR/LEGISLATURE, you know exactly what I am talking about! Take away their State Credit Card before they max out the limit, but keep on spending anyway, which is spending only for their own Parties glorification!

Keeping your Bike safe

Tis the season to be out and about riding our bikes and seeing the country. When traveling with your bike it is good to think security. WSN recommends you purchase a bike lock and keep it wraped around your bike. I would suggest a lock and key, weather proof lock. The lock on this page is a good all purpose lock and should fit under the seat of most bikes. There are some great new bike paths all over the country and some great sights to see. But remember to bring along a lock and use it, because nothing ruins a trip more the losing your ride.

Bin ladin killed 5/1/11, could osama save obama ?

Bin Laden May Save Obama in 2012

Bin Laden to Save Obama in 2012?
Politico is reporting that President Obama is likely to announce his reelection intentions in the very near future. And by near future they really mean next week. And, as I will explain later, the President will need to deliver a miracle to solidify his chances in 2012. Many expect the President to win handily, but I think he needs to pull a rabbit out of a hat. Unfortunately, I think Obama was the rabbit ready. From the article:
The most likely day for the campaign to file registration papers with the Federal Election Commission is Monday, but officials are not committing to a specific date in case some transcendent event in the world would overshadow the kickoff. Obama aides want to tell their supporters first, and so are not encouraging preview stories by the press.
Transcendent event? Hmmmm….like blowing up 13 Libyan rebels by accident? Of course not, Obama needs something that can change the overseas debacle into a big win. Currently, Obama is plagued with a  stagnant jobs front,  a self-inflicted debt crisis, and never-ending war. Based on his philosophical predisposition, he has no chance at solving either the jobs problem or the debt crisis.
But war is a different story. War is about perception. And to change perception overnight, he only needs to do one thing….find Bin Laden.
That single success could reinvigorate a war-weary country. It would also give him credibility as a commander. America hates to lose. And right now, it certainly doesn’t feel like we are winning overseas. Finding Bin Laden will change that in a single heart beat.

Lock box key cabinet

In any business key control is very important. The Supra locking key box is a great tool for this purpose. If your in real estate, property management, construction or just need to keep control over your keys this box will do the trick. The lock box is push button and the combination is changeable with ease. So if your in need of inexpensive key control, this little box should work well for you.
