Fire safes for important paperwork, cds, and dvds

In the world today it seems like every other week we are given some type of paperwork, insurance papers, home mortgage and car information requiring the protection from fire and sometimes water protection. Also more and more cds and electronic media from flash drives to dvds that we would like to see make it through a fire or a flood.

  Most safes on the market for this purpose are cost effective and under $100.00. I have some information on the Sentry model below that is good fire safe for your paper work and items. Remember that these safes are not that secure to prohibit breakins as their main funtion is for fire or water protection. The safe we are looking at today is the Sentry model 1160 fire safe.
