Dome cameras unsightly and effective

The new dome cameras on the market to day are very stylish and unsightly. I like to mount the dome near a register for a bus. application or if it is a residential installation I like a covered porch or front entrance. They are easy to install and work as a great add on to a system already up and running. Most people will look right at the dome and not know that it is a camera. That makes the dome a hide right in the open camera. As I have pointed out before in small to medium size business inside or employee theft is sometimes the most prominent.
